• High-visibility patrols have been carried out in identified hotspot locations.
• PCSOs have been engaging positively with young people, encouraging them to access local youth projects and diversionary activities rather than congregating in locations where ASB has occurred.
• Officers have engaged with local businesses, encouraging staff to contact police when they notice groups of young people gathering and causing concern. This will allow early intervention and positive engagement to take place before their behaviour escalates or offences are committed.
• Reassurance patrols have taken place at identified hotspot locations alongside Youth Team staff, demonstrating a partnership working approach.
• In addition, further high-visibility patrols are planned in partnership with the local ASB officer and British Transport Police colleagues.

• Planned operations have been arranged in partnership with the Three Rivers Special Constabulary to address speeding concerns within the local area. These initiatives will see PCSOs working alongside Special Constables, who will utilise their enforcement powers to stop vehicles where appropriate. This approach has proved particularly effective, combining visible policing, community reassurance, and enforcement.

• Officers have had a number of meetings to progress the introduction of the PCC Community Drive Safe project within the local area. There has been a positive response from residents, with a number expressing a keen interest in becoming involved and supporting the initiative. Applications have been submitted to the PCC office, and we are hopeful that the project will be up and running in the New Year. This initiative will provide another valuable opportunity for residents to play an active role in improving road safety and supporting local policing priorities.
