Tackle Speeding on residential roads, specifically on Lonsdale Road and Bedwell Crescent Issued 15 January 2026 |
Reports of speeding remain low and are currently falling, however our surveys indicate this is still a concern for local residents. We will therefore continue to carry out targeted patrols as a result of feedback from the public and this work will be ongoing. Actioned 13 January 2026 |

Continuing to tackle ASB in the Town Centre Issued 13 January 2026 |
Previously, the Safer Town Centre and Winter of Action initiatives, along with Operation Hotspot have seen increased high visibility and plain clothed patrols in Stevenage town centre. This has resulted in numerous arrests for shoplifting and ASB and a drop in the number of reports of ASB in the town centre. Actioned 13 January 2026 |
