Through increased patrols and close partnership working with landowners, farmers and businesses, the Neighbourhood Policing Team will focus on reducing fly-tipping. This will form part of a wider, ongoing effort to reduce rural crime and see further crime prevention initiatives between police and local communities.

The unlawful use of E-scooters in Royston

The issue of the unlawful use of E-scooters has been identified as a concern for Royston residents.
The use of E-scooters on public land is not allowed, and can present a danger to pedestrians and other road users alike. The Neighbourhood Policing Team will undertake activities to address this issue including education and, where necessary and appropriate, enforcement of relevant legislation.
