Issued 02 April 2026

Residents previously asked us to focus on the following issues:

Provide crime prevention and target hardening advice around burglary and thefts from motor vehicles, to help safeguard residents in the Borehamwood South area.
• This is a trend we often see in the darker months and we've been working with Crime Prevention Orders to hold engagement events. These give us the chance to speak to residents about crime prevention advice.

Tackle drug related criminality linked to addresses in the Borehamwood North area.
• Numerous arrests have been made in connection with this issue and further work is ongoing. We’ve also been working closely with local partners including housing providers.
