Issued 10 May 2025	During July 2025 the Hoddesdon Neighbourhood Policing Team have continued to work alongside partner agencies and local businesses to target those intent in committing anti-social behaviour or criminality in the area ensuring that members of public can continue to enjoy the various events happening in the town centre over the summer months, check out the council’s website for further details at www.broxbourne.gov.uk. Engagement events will also be taking place and members of public are encouraged to join the Hoddesdon Neighbourhood Policing Team at one of these organised events, check out details of the next organised event on Herts Connected. In addition, members of the Hoddesdon Neighbourhood Policing Team can be regularly seen patrolling the town centre, neighbourhood roads and parks. Tackle anti-social car meets. Issued 10 May 2025	Your local Neighbourhood Policing Team continue to respond to any reports of organised car meets within the Borough. We would like to take this opportunity to remind anyone who may be tempted to take part in an organised car meet that there is a Public Space Protection Order, covering the whole of the Borough of Broxbourne, prohibiting anyone being the driver of any mechanically propelled vehicle to act in a manner deemed by an authorised person to be anti-social and is or is likely to be causing nuisance, alarm, harassment or distress to any other person and failure to comply with this order is a criminal offence. Please report any incidents of suspected car meets via 101 or, where relevant, please call 999. Actioned 31 July 2025
