Officers engage with families at the Love Parks event in Castle Park

Last week, your local officers attended the Love Parks event in Bishop's Stortford, hosted by East Herts Council.

It was fantastic to see so many young people and families enjoying the day. Our officers spent time chatting with residents, answering questions about policing, and giving young visitors the chance to sit in a police car and learn more about what we do.

We were particularly pleased to hear that several young people expressed an interest in joining our Volunteer Police Cadets, which offers exciting opportunities to learn new skills, support local communities and gain an insight into policing.
