Warning after weight loss drugs stolen from St Albans pharmacy |

Dear Resident, Police are urging the public to only buy pharmaceutical drugs from reputable companies after a large quantity were stolen in St Albans. Shortly before 6.40pm on Saturday (24 January), a pharmacy on Handley Page Way was broken into. A large quantity of weight loss drugs were stolen. Detective Sergeant Yolanda Morales-Willis said: “These weight loss drugs must be stored correctly and are dangerous if they are not administered in the right way. These, along with other pharmaceutical items, should only be prescribed via a healthcare professional or bought through registered companies. “I urge anyone who is offered these products at unusually low prices, or by unfamiliar companies or individuals, to contact the police. “If you also have any information relating to the burglary, please contact police quoting 41/7888/26.” You can also report information online at herts.police.uk/report, speak to an operator in our Force Communications Room via our online web chat at herts.police.uk/contact or call the non-emergency number 101.
