Anti-Spiking Awareness - St Albans Police in partnership with BID and Pubwatch.

Dear Resident

St Albans Police Licensing have been in contact with St Albans Business In Development (BID) and Pubwatch to increase anti-spiking awareness and Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG) within our communities and work towards a safer night time economy. Along with local Police patrols, St Albans Pubwatch will be distributing BID branded testing strips if you suspect your drink has been tampered with. 

If you have any concerns on your night out in relation to your safety or that of someone else, especially over the festive period, please raise it with a member of staff at the premises and/or contact Police on 101 or 999 in an emergency. Members of staff are trained in licensed premises to know about the 'Ask for Angela' Campaign. We want everyone to feel safe in the whole of St Albans district, and enjoy themselves.
