Can you help Watford police identify man following suspicious incident?

Dear Resident,

We're investigating a suspicious incident in Watford town centre and have released a photo of a man we'd like to identify and speak to him as we believe he has information that could assist us.

The incident happened on Wednesday 19 November, between 6.30pm and 10.30pm.

A woman aged in her 20s was walking in the town centre when she noticed a man following her.

She entered the Cassio Lounge restaurant on the High Street to meet her friends, and the man also went inside and sat at a table next to the group. Staff asked the man to leave, which he did.

Several hours later, the woman left the restaurant to walk back to her car, escorted by her friends. They saw the same man again, who followed them for a short distance before walking off in the direction of Sainsbury’s supermarket.
