Appeal following collision in Rickmansworth |

Police are appealing for witnesses, information, CCTV from any properties along Main Avenue and dash cam footage following a road traffic collision in Rickmansworth. It is reported that at around 8.20am on Tuesday 2 December, a DAF road sweeper truck was travelling along Main Avenue in the Moor Park area in the direction of Pembroke Road, which was cleaning the side of the road, when it collided with a pedestrian. Officers attended the scene along with colleagues from the East of England Ambulance Service. A woman in her 80s who sustained serious injuries in the collision was taken to hospital, where she remains in a stable condition. The driver of the DAF Truck was arrested for Causing Serious injury by careless driving.
