Theft of Motor Vehicle - Bellswains Lane, Hemel Hempstead.

Dear Resident

 

Between the 21st and the 22nd of July 2025, between 15:30hrs and 08:00hrs, a theft of a vehicle occurred in Bellswains Lane, Hemel Hempstead.

Between the material times, the vehicle was parked on Bellswains Lane, Hemel Hempstead.  When the victim came back to the vehicle's location, he saw that it has been stolen by offender(s) by means unknown.

Vehicle's details as per below:

plate number KM74UNV, no other information yet.

Tips to prevent vehicle crime:

  • Ensure you lock doors and shut windows/sunroof when leaving your vehicle unattended.
  • Always remove keys from the ignition when you are not with the vehicle
  • When parking, remember to set your immobiliser or alarm or use an approved steering lock or gear lever clamp.
  • Never leave valuables in your vehicle – not even in the glove box or boot – and keep all possessions out of sight – even coats, sunglasses and carrier bags.
  • Be aware of your keys.  Don’t leave them visible on a windowsill or near to your front door, where they could be “hooked” through the letterbox or a keyless signal can be received by relay devices.  
  • If you have a keyless entry car use a signal blocking bag and consider using additional trackers, steering wheel locks or ghost immobilisers.
  • Store car ownership documents at home, not in your car.
