Anti-Social Motorbikes - Cell Barnes Lane

I hope you are well.

I wanted to take the opportunity to inform you that a meeting took place today with representatives of Hertfordshire County Council and the District Councillor for the Ashley Ward regarding the anti-social use of motorcycles and scooters in and around Barncroft Way and Cell Barnes Lane in St Albans.

We are looking to obtain further information to feedback to Hertfordshire County Council about the anti-social driving, including riders of motorcycles and scooters using the pavements as a cut through from London Road and Cunningham Hill Road towards Cell Barnes Lane.

If you have any information that regarding that can be passed to Hertfordshire County Council, please respond to this message.

We are not only looking to collate this information. Any incidents where vehicle registrations are provided to us, we will engage with those individuals and utilise our powers Section 59 and 60 of the Police Reform Act. Using these powers, we can provide warnings to these individuals and seize their vehicles if the warnings are ignored.
