Graffiti in the West Common area of Harpenden

We have been made aware of an increase in graffiti and ‘tagging’ in the West Common and Rothamsted Park areas of Harpenden.

Please be reassured that we are working with the local authority CCTV operators in an effort to identify the people responsible for this damage and we are actively patrolling these areas in an effort to disrupt this kind of behaviour and identify any suspects.

If you see anyone damaging any street signs, bins or other street furniture, please report it to police using either 101 or 999 (in an emergency.) You can also report incidents online at www.herts.police.uk and any incidents of graffiti or other damage to street furniture can be reported to St Albans district council for repair at www.stalbans.gov.uk .
