Dacorum has seen the highest reply rate to this survey across Hertfordshire.

As Dacorum's Neighbourhood Policing Inspector, can I thank you for your support in completing the Operation Sceptre survey. Of the 456 replies, over 96% have said that they do not know of anyone who carries a knife.

On the survey you were asked how safe you feel in your local area regarding knife crime. 76% stated they feel safe or very safe, and this is replicated in Dacorum's relatively low volume knife crime offences.

This is very reassuring and supports the Borough of Dacorum being a safe place to both live and work, however if this isn’t your experience we would like to hear more about your concerns.
