Six-month anniversary appeal following fatal shooting in Kings Langley

On the six-month anniversary of a fatal shooting in Kings Langley, detectives are renewing their appeal for witnesses and information.

Mustapha Jatta, aged 30, was shot and killed in Railway Terrace just after 12.30am on Tuesday 17 September last year (2024).

Fifteen minutes later at around 12.45am, reports were received of a white Volkswagen Golf on fire in Furtherfield, Abbots Langley. Officers believe the incidents are linked.

Crimestoppers, a charity which is independent from the police, are offering a reward of up to £20,000 in exchange for information that results in justice for Mustapha. Any information received is anonymous. 

Officers will be in the local area this week to speak to residents and businesses as part of the six-month anniversary appeal, because they are keen to hear from anyone who may have information but has not already spoken to police.
